I make whimsical characters, tiny worlds and playful art with a lot of personality.

My work moves between illustration, watercolor, collage, painted paper, pattern and whatever else happens to be sitting on my art table.

I'm especially drawn to characters with something to say: a funny expression, an odd little shape, a tiny relationship or the beginning of a story.

Those characters often grow into something bigger — illustrated worlds, licensing collections, patterns, products or creative experiences that invite other people to make something too.

At the center of all of it is the same thing: curiosity, personality and the joy of play.
