MADE JUST FOR YOU
Your idea.
My wonderfully odd imagination.
Maybe you have a character floating around in your imagination. Maybe you want a wonderfully strange creature for a particular spot in your home. Or maybe you've seen my work and simply want something created especially for you.
WHAT I LOVE TO CREATE
Personality first.
Commissions work best when there's room for me to interpret your idea through my own playful, expressive style.
01
Characters & Creatures
Odd, funny, sweet, curious and slightly unexpected characters with plenty of personality.
02
Animals With Personality
Character-driven animals interpreted through my style rather than traditional realistic pet portraits.
03
Art for Your Space
Original artwork designed with a particular wall, room, nook or wonderfully empty space in mind.
HOW IT WORKS
From your idea
to an original.
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. A little spark is plenty to start.
01
Tell me what you're imagining.
Share your idea, where the artwork will live and approximately what size you're considering.
02
We'll talk about the possibilities.
I'll let you know whether the project feels like a good fit and we'll agree on the direction, size, price and timing.
03
I make the art.
Your idea gets interpreted through my characters, marks, textures and slightly quirky imagination.
04
Your original comes home.
You'll receive a one-of-a-kind, signed Jen Vax original created especially for you.
PRICING + AVAILABILITY
Every piece is a little different.
Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the artwork. Once I know what you're imagining, I'll provide a quote before we begin.
A 50% deposit reserves your commission and studio time. The remaining balance is due when the artwork is complete.
LET'S DREAM SOMETHING UP
What's living in your imagination?
Tell me a little about what you're thinking. You don't need to have every detail figured out — that's part of the fun.
